My horse has pretty significant skin allergies and is on hydroxyzine. I’ve tried both pills and powder, but she’s pretty picky and manages to still leave some meds behind. I’m thinking of trying the liquid, but I’m wondering if it has to be refrigerated. We don’t have a refrigerator in the feed room, so the meds would have to be stored in the tack room. I’m afraid the medication would be forgotten easily if it’s not right there with the grain.
Has anyone had hydroxyzine that’s shelf stable?
Thanks!
