Still silence from Carmie’s Army.

A mile is not his metier, it would seem. Silipo finished in 8th position. Silipo seemed to run out of gas around that last 1/4 mile.

Silipo won today at a mile under a new jockey and trainer Rudy Rodriquez.

It appear that he was clamed after his race on 4/14.

After Silipo’s win at a mile yesterday, I’ll have to eat crow, amile is possible for him contrary to my 4/15 post.

Since I like crows, could I settle for eating my words?

Glad he wasn’t claimed.

Is anyone on here interested in giving him a home? This might be the time.

I like the idea but wonder about the cause of the vet scratch after an entry in a 10K claiming race.

Quite a comedown after winning his last 1 mile victory.

I don’t think that this is about buying a viable race horse, necessarily. It may be more of a mission of mercy.

I’m not suggesting you buy him as a racehorse but perhaps as a saddle horse. One must keep in mind that many cannot afford a pasture pet, or to manage a 6 month layup.

It could be that a mission of mercy is a good thing.
