We had our first confirmed pregnancy this week. Romancing Rio (Rio Grande/Dynamik/Duerkheim) was confirmed in foal to Goldmaker! We are very excited for a guaranteed buckskin baby in 2014

My girl checked in foal earlier this month (or last, I guess), can’t remember the cover date offhand but it’s approximately 3/20. Our best stallion is going great guns, has 12 of his first 13 mares in foal of the ones that enough time has passed to vet check.

Yesterday we confirmed both mares in foal to our stallion. First cover for both, first cycle/try certainly can’t complain about that. In 2012 we ended up with two very nice fillies from the same pairings. Hoping 2014 just brings us 2 healthy foals but carbon copies of the 2012 crop would be awesome. No need to list bloodlines for y’all 'cause we breed something other than ‘of the blood’.

I just bred my mare yesterday! Will update in two weeks… The mare is a pointmaker/prinz Gaylord to Wild Dance!..ok! We have our black dot!

My Landkonig mare checked in foal to Bosch Blue (Cantos X Mr. Blue) today!! I was so worried about everything “working” to plan…she didn’t take the first time, then she was cycled in, checked on a Monday, she was a 42mm…The earliest I could get the semen at that point was Wednesday. We gave her 15cc of Regumate Mon/Tues then checked her prior to breeding on Wednesday and she had a 47mm follicle!! So we bred her on that and lucked in!! SO excited for this foal!!
