LIVEEXTRA app not live today??

I’m watching on iPad right now. It was not showing up as “on” when I checked at 9:00AM Central but it said “Upcoming” on the schedule at the bottom, so I had hope. Sure enough, I was able to access the entire recording about an hour and a half ago. This is different than yesterday, when I was able to access it right away in the morning. Not sure if it was Live then or not.

After all the trouble so many of you have been experiencing, I’m just thrilled I can see ANYTHING. :-/ Very convenient to watch on iPad.

Equestrian is showing on the schedule starting at 6:00 AM my time tomorrow, I believe. I will have a hard time not watching at work - you can bet I’ll be sneaking peeks all day!

Incidentally, I watched some of the Sailing earlier today. That really was live, I think. It was also FREQUENTLY interrupted by ads for Citibank, which unfortunately froze the feed Every. Single. Time. I would have to click “Done,” go back to the Schedule, and re-open Sailing. It was thoroughly annoying! I am experiencing zero ads watching the dressage right now, so thank goodness for that.

ARGHHH! The app quit unexpectedly, and when I reopened the Eventing dressage it took me right back to the beginning - 7+ hours of coverage, I was 2 hours in, and there’s no “fast-forward!” What the heck?! This stinks… I don’t have the time (or desire) to rewatch all of it, so guess I’m done for now, dammit.

If anyone knows how to go forward, please let me know… there are backwards arrows, but if there’s a way to go forward I can’t find it.

I have emailed twice.

On the iPad, I have no issue with not being able to fast forward because I can only replay 5 minutes of the dressage before it tells me my video has ended. At least I got to see three rides on the NBCSN channel today, which my husband saw and recorded for me.

I am getting to the point of not even caring because it’s so frustrating.

Yup, have gotten the same message twice now. Once before the app just flat-out quit while watching dressage, and once during Sailing (which is what I started watching after I figured out I couldn’t go forward in the dressage). And when I tried to re-boot the sailing - same story, back at the beginning. So it’s not just Equestrian that’s messed up. :mad::mad::mad:

I had a feeling this was not going to be a smooth and pleasant experience when the app was not even available yet as of last week. They obviously were developing it right down to the wire, and there are now bugs galore frustrating the hell out of a LOT of people.

Getting that same video has ended message on mine, too. So all I get to see is a few minutes of empty arena, then nothing. Yet I’ve been able to watch all the swimming, table tennis, and beach volleyball I want! So for me, only the equestrian seems messed up…

And it makes me watch that stupid commercial for the Will Ferrell movie every single time I try to access the eventing dressage! Never bombs during THAT!

Just downloaded the update for my iPad, and got an invitation to do a survey. There’s a space for comments, “wishes” (as they put it), and concerns. I gave them an earful! Really frustrating! Maybe if they get enough feedback they’ll make a better update. I bet we’re not the only ones having troubles watching our favorite sport.
