Liz Halliday Sharp teaching style?

What are her clinics like? How does she coach/teach?

Bumpity bump. Came here to ask this same question! There’s a clinic in my area with her and despite several google searches I have been unable to find any clinic reports or info on her teaching.

You might get an idea of what she is like listening to this podcast;

She is someone I would be super interested in riding with!

I haven’t had lessons from her but two big pluses in her favour are first, she has BHS professional qualifications so she has been taught to teach and second, she produces the majority of her horses herself and so has experience with all shapes, sizes and character of horse.

I have had two lessons with her. I took two horses to a “mini one day clinic” of hers and rode each in a lesson: one horse in the Training section and one horse in the Prelim section. I thought she was fantastic.

She was very low key and clearly had the horse’s best interest in mind. I had been working on a particular (different) thing with each horse and with each horse, she explained that thing in a slightly different way; her explanation really helped me make a lot of progress in one day.

I signed up to ride with her again next month. I’m really looking forward to it!

Unfortunately her clinic filled up. Glad to hear some good feedback, hopefully I can attend the next one
