Liz is the 2024 USEF International Equestrian of the Year. Erin Sudikas, an emergency room nurse at the University of Kentucky who was a volunteer at the American Eventing Championships, accepted the award on Liz’s behalf. I’m not crying, you’re crying 🥲

Ugh was hoping for a better update than that. No mention of how she’s actually doing, if she has motor skills or is talking. Fingers crossed its going better than how it seems

Yeah if you read between the lines all it speaks of is her being responsive and not much else.
“I told her, ‘You are one special person.’ I can’t wait for her to be able to pick up all of the magazines and articles and the thousands of text messages and emails she has received for herself and just see the amazing support she has gotten from everybody all over the world.

It is good that some news has come out but it does sound like her progress is slow and steady. Wishing her well on her journey towards better health.

I thought the same. It was another update that that didn’t really say anything.

Liz is in the thoughts of many. She has an enormous support circle.
