easy for a novice /training rider to armchair quarterback, but it looked like that horse’s head was pulled up so high going into the jump, i dont think the horse had a chance at that fence.

?? If this is directed at me I’m not armchairing they played it slow mo. Horses can easily jump with their head up if their head is free.
The horse is in an elevator and checking so many times before the fence is danger as we see from the result.

I will say I’ve done the exact same thing and I learned more in those 5 seconds than any other 5 seconds in my entire riding career. But when you learn it at Training you don’t fall off.
