I’m on a quest to find the perfect (aka: free/cheap) LMS to help my riding school students keep up with their unmounted/theory courses—because, let’s face it, Google Docs and folders with PDF of worksheets just aren’t cutting it anymore for me. Parents claim they “forget” how to access it, and I have no way of tracking who’s actually completing activities/modules.
I’ve trialed a few platforms like LearnWorlds recently, but they felt super clunky. And Moodle? Let’s just say I’m not wild about their “your content will be public” vibe.
Here’s what I need:
- User-friendly : My students and their parents need to be able to log in easily. Bonus point if it looks nice - but it should mostly be straightforward.
- Affordable : I already charge way less than I should for lessons, so no 4-figure flat fee platforms, please.
- Tracking features : I need to know who’s completing what.
Any hidden gems out there that you’ve tried and loved?
