Well, just be ready for the Morgan mind. 
If your work ethic doesn’t match theirs, they can be disgusted with you. More to your “want-list,” though, mine loves dressage because it has so many jobs for him. It tells him where to put his body and his feet and his head, and he clearly is thinking, “Finally, mom is demonstrating something approaching the horizon of marginally correct riding and leadership in the saddle. About time. It is tedious for me to have to educate her as to what is correct, all the time.” When I have ridden him well, and offered him things to do with his mind and body, though, he is the most affectionate, smart, and handsome horse there is.
