Looking for a new turnout sheet/blanket

I’m looking for a new turnout sheet/blankey and heard a lot of people like Rambo or baker and I was looking at the baker turnout sheet and I like it but the only thing making me feel hesitant were a few reviews saying they aren’t really water proof and then there were others saying the opposite - does anyone have any experience with bakers turnout sheets? And if they’ll do well if they get wet? I’m also trying to keep the blankets I have to a minimal - were in like central Florida weather and I was thinking would a sheet (0g) and lite weight (100g) be enough? My one horse gets clipped sometimes and the other doesn’t, but doesn’t grow a coat either, but also tends to run a little hotter. Is a 0 g and 100 g versatile enough for Florida winters? I was looking at Rambo too and wasn’t sure which style was best - the Rambo original and Rambo wugs the same? Also, do Rambo’s and bakers fit pretty true to size?

I have Rambo turnout sheets and two different weight Rambo TO blankets that came with a horse I bought in 2015. They are hands down outstanding blankets when compared to other brands.

Each spring after I wash & dry them I spray them with a product that rain proofs tents. This helps them perform well.

Thank you  which style of Rambo do you have?

Rambo Supreme turn out blankets, no neck pieces.

Okay, great - thanks! I heard someone say they don’t like how Rambo doesn’t have leg straps for turnout? Is that something you notice or feel is a big deal?

We use Rambo turnout sheets, liners, and hoods. Some are over 10 years old. They still look new after washing. We do re-waterproof now.

Thanks  do you prefer using liners?

Yes…it is easy to alter the weight and the liners fit in my washing machine.

Correct, no legs straps on Rambo’s but the strap that goes side to side, under the tail has always kept my blankets stabilized.
