We are a few friends with varying riding experience/ability levels, so ideally a barn with a great trainer and a few school horses that can accommodate this, and also offer room for growth (as well as a fun, safe atmosphere!). Any experiences or suggestions? We are also very interested in participating in hunter paces, hill topping and maybe getting more involved in the fox hunting community. Thanks in advance!
I don’t know that area at all. If you go onto the MFHA website and look up hunts geographically, you will find the names of the hunts that are closest to your area and they should also have a way to contact the hunt as well. As far a riding barn, if you are looking for english riding lessons that would be suited to cross country riding, I would cross post this into the eventing forum. If you are looking to do more trail riding and looking for a barn geared toward that, I would cross post into the trail riding/endurance forum.
