Crossposted in Horse Care, but looking for a place where my OTTB gelding could have 24/7 turnout so he has a chance to show us how his back does if he is in the right living situation (kissing spines, more he moves the better). He is very much a people pony and TB…would love to have a “job” again but in the mean time enjoys being groomed. I am pretty much open to ANY & ALL suggestions…Thank you in advance!
Just in case my post came across wrong…i am totally willing to pay board and stay involved and he is used to in & out stalls already.
Maybe try posting this over on the HJ Forum. It gets the most traffic and a rehab place isnt discipline specific.
Might help to be more specific about location in your title too. “In or near MA”? Could be anything from Boston, Springfield, Albany, Providence, Danvers or Plaistow.

I would suggest checking/ posting on the USEA Area 1 website (not clever enough to give you a link). You might find an eventer who has some room on their place. Good luck!
Thank you both!! Findingeight i did not get specific because i really am open to any suggestion at this point and realize his needs do not match up with his need of space to really move his feet, friends and forage. Frugalannie an eventer type place would be perfect for him and my rideable horse.
Check area tack stores and newsletters/websites for private places and ask around. There’s quite a few with an extra stall that would love a retiree boarder almost anywhere, they are just harder to find but worth that time looking.
Might look up around Hamilton and Ipswich/Rowley/Haverhill or out towards Nashoba. Lots of private places in the Concord, Lexington area too.
checkout orchard hill equestrian in Berlin Mass. They might have some horses that live outside. Not sure but nice people and place
