My mother is losing her corgi and I would like to put feelers out. My mother is 84 and this is her second corgi. My mother is too old for another puppy, but she is probably looking for a perfect corgi. She found her current corgi, Karli, through a breeder. The breeder was done breeding her and wanted to find the dog a good home. Unfortunately, she’s only had Karli for 3-4 years and she’s heartbroken. The dog is only expected to live until Christmas or a little after. I have looked at rescue sites, but a lot of them aren’t true corgis. I will probably call breeders when my mom no longer has a dog. My mother lives on the coast of NC.Any ideas welcome.
Texas Corgi Rescue has an older female Corgi needing to be rehomed. She’s 10 and her owner has had children and doesn’t have the money to keep her any longer. It seems she might have some sort of medical issue that requires maintenance though.
Have you tried reaching out to any breeders to see if they have any dogs or know of any they are looking to retire?
Are you on facebook? If so, check out the Corgi Nation group. Lots of contacts there that could probably point you in the right direction.
I know of a 4yo Corgi in NC who’s owner is dying of cancer and needs a new home.
I think this one is near Charlotte but not sure. I can get some contact info and details if you’re interested
If Horsegal’s does not work out, you might try:

I hope these links come out clickable, if not, I got them on the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America’s website.
