My black Ariat paddocks and Ariat Concord half chaps are dying in unison and it’s time to replace. I’d like to switch over to brown for schooling…and since Ariat no longer makes Concords in brown (why why discontinue these Ariat? - boooo) I have been eyeing the Ovation line of Aero paddocks and half chaps just because I like the price and color. However I can’t really find any reviews of them…and will need to order online.

I welcome any other recommendations. In a perfect world I’d get the Ariat RT zip paddocks and Ariat Concord half chaps but neither come in brown

The footbed is comfortable and the zipper is nice. Have had them for about a year (riding three times a week) and they have held up well so far. I have seen them on clearance sale at Adams and I think zulily had them a few weeks ago - so there may be some better deals out there!
I have a couple of pairs of Ovation half chaps and they’re very durable, yet nice looking and comfortable.
