I’m hoping someone has information on my childhood horse Dark. When I had him from 2004-2007, his show name was Before Dark but when we sold him through Elisabeth Blaisdell (located in Southern California), Elisabeth and my parents got into a disagreement and he was sold without his USEF number being transferred to the new owner.
Dark is a 15.3 1/2 dark bay TB/WB cross with two hind socks, a star on his forehead and another, more vertical marking about 3-4 inches below the star. He was foaled in 1995. We sold him as a 2’-2’6" horse in 2007 and I remember hearing about a few adult riders trying him so I’m thinking he’s in the Long Stirrup ring or being used as a school horse.
Some other of his stand-out characteristics were that he liked to be ridden on a loose rein, took a lot of leg, had a very good buck in him, liked to pretend flat classes were a race, and his favorite treats were sour patch kids, starbursts and three musketeers bars.
