Starting the search for next season’s show jacket for my daughter - and haven’t been able to find a washable, chocolate brown jacket - hoping someone can point me in the right direction?
Grand Prix makes a girls’ Tech Lite in chocolate brown. What size do you need?
We got one from the Farm House in the sale room for $200
I looooove my brown Grand Prix jacket! Not sure where to buy it as I got mine at a second hand store!(which if you have a good one in your area, that might be a good place to look!)
I have this one - fits nicer than in that picture. It’s also much more chocolate brown…the picture looks like it has a bit of a grey tinge. And it’s machine washable!
Melissa, her current jacket is a size 4 tall made by Hayward & we had to have it tailored to fit - would that translate to the same size in GP?

I got mine from Karlynn Equestrian, which is in Ontario - maybe give them a call?
I love my chocolate brown Animo coat if you don’t mind the more technical cut/fabric. It’s the ‘Lovely’ style, and it washes and wears really well.

What divisions does your daughter show in? Hunter? eq? Jumper? Some of the jackets here are better for hunter and eq than others.
ToTheNines - she would be wearing it in the hunter ring only - has a black jacket for the equitations.

I was going to say that the Animo coats are very beautiful, particularly the brown one. Too bad they are so expensive!!!

I have a chocolate brown GPA show coat and love it… I find it looks more classical then then the animo but its still the techno fabric.

What size would she wear if shopping for a coat in a department store?
You may want to look into a Henry Winston coat. I do not know if they have brown but they have all sorts of looks. They are the more traditional looking coat but washable. They run around $600-700 for a ladies size. I ordered one and can’t wait till it comes in!
How about this one? I don’t have one of these, so I don’t know what they are actually like, but this jacket meets the criteria, comes in all sorts of sizes, and is really inexpensive. Might be worth a try:
