Looking for "Foe Fur"/Brie-TB Grey Mare

I am looking for my old TB mare Brie “Brilliant Disguise”, her registered name was Foe Fur and she was bred by Michael Matz. She is gray and is about 16.1 hands with a small hind white sock I believe. I think she would be about 20 years old by now. She raced for a short time before I bought her and tried to make her into a hunter, but she had a bit too much get up and go for that job. However, she was a very good jumper. She was also very sweet and very pretty!

I sold her in 1998 to the person who sold me another horse in VA beach. I believe she was going to resell her. My guess is that she either became a jumper or a broodmare.

I am seeking information about her because I always think of her and wonder if she is OK. Thank you so much for your help!

The correct spelling of this mare’s name is “Faux Fur”

Faux Fur Has Been Found

I have found that my old mare, Faux Fur (I had the spelling wrong) is located at a breeding farm in Pennsylvania, and she is being offered for sale. The sale’s pages comments are that she loves being a mom and is still sound for trail riding. I also was able to look at her pedigree. Her dam is Michael Matz’s Sable Princess and her sire is GSW Rise Jim. I wish I was able to afford another horse, I would love nothing more to have her back to live out the rest of her years :(…For anyone out there who wants a VERY sweet mare she would be perfect.
