Looking for Galloping boots for a pony - any advice?

I want something along the lines of these: http://www.doversaddlery.com/weatherbeeta-molded-galloping-horse-boots/p/X1-04255/

I think. I have had boots in the past that looked like them - called Roma Protek I think? - that didn’t slip even when wet, offered great protection, and never rubbed. They were great boots to have, when trail riding, especially through briars etc. and of course protected from interference.

Any thoughts? Those boots seem to come in many different brands - is one preferable to the other? Roma, Ovation, and Weatherbeeta are a few I have seen.

Also, for anyone who has any in the pony size - can you give me the measurements?

Thanks!

Hi Freebird,

You might try shopping at Just for Ponies. I have bought two pairs of boots there for my medium pony. They are Woof Wear brushing boots. I’m not sure if the measurements for those would help you or not, but I could provide them. (The hinds got thrown away in a very unfortunate dumpster accident, but I still have the fronts.)

The staff at JFP are very helpful if you need to call them with any questions on sizing.
Happy pony accessory shopping!
