I used to be the owner and trainer of a horse named Tommys Girl. She is a chestnut with a blaze and 2 white socks. I sold her to another trainer at Mountaineer, Edward Clouston. He won a race with her and sold her to another trainer John Capellini. I would lie to have her back. Not to race just to have as she was my first winner as an owner and trainer. I have not reached out to Clouston but I did Facebook message Capellini. It said it was read but never received a response. Really asking for some courage to call mountaineer to get his phone number… I don’t know if I could stomach it is she was put down or sent to auction. The ONLY and absolute ONLY reason I sold her was because she was very “crazy”. None of the riders at Delaware Park could ride her so I would pony her everyday. She was a very difficult filly and had a major episode saddling her the last race I had her. It was just a huge liability for me to keep her in my stable. Things have changed now and I have a farm and would like to find her if she is still alive and bring her to my farm. She is a very special filly to me, my mother helped me get the money to claim her and she is dying of cancer.
Long story short… if anyone has information on her or just help me get the courage to investigate it would be appreciated.
