Hi all! First time poster but have been reading the forums for a while now.
I am most likely moving from Florida to the Glendale, Arizona area by early 2021 and want to get a head start on researching some new barns to check out once I make the move so would love some recommendations! I have been googling a bit but having difficulties finding much other than western and dressage programs.
I am an AA in my mid 20s, and have been riding for almost 20 years at the same small private barn. I do not own a horse, so no need to board. I typically ride a few times a week, including a weekly lesson and then whoever my BO/trainer has that needs a ride, or another boarder’s horse that is kindly offered up. Jumpers is my main and preferred discipline and this year I have also started on low level dressage. I enjoy competing monthly at local schooling shows and would love to keep that up if possible.
I am hopeful to find a good instructor with a challenging lesson program, nice lesson horses and hopefully the opportunity to ride outside of lessons as well. I might also consider a part-lease situation for more saddle time.
