Looking for hunter pace(s) Rochester NY area

Anyone have any information on any low key (jumps optional) hunter paces in the Rochester NY area?

That is what I was worried about. None. I have googled and asked around and I am failing at finding any.
It is sad, since there is a rather large hunting and eventing type community.

Try looking at the Genesee Valley Hunt Calendar:

It looks like the Irish Draught Horse Society of North America is sponsering one next weekend and again in October.

Thank you!

Just seeing this

Yes, Trubandloki, our Irish Hunter Pace is Sunday in Caledonia, NY,
starting at 10am-2pm.
Unless you would like to go for the Fast Time division and we ask that you
come at 9am, so you have a clear course in front of you!
All jumps are optional, they range from inviting beginner jumps to yahoo,
did you jump that log/brush/rolltop?!

The Optimum time is set by a couple teams before Sunday and their times
are averaged so no one knows the ideal time!
There is a pretty good picnic following the last Team and ribbons & prizes
are handed out there!

Call me, 585-704-0985 if you have any questions!

ps thanks for passing on the info Christa!

The GVH hunter paces in the spring and fall are super nice and all jumps optional (it generally includes some of the fences on the grounds of the horse trials if you want). Went last fall, with plans to jump but we’d had so much rain (and my horse’s shoes were on their last leg!) that I ended up not jumping much. Sadly Davidson Knoll is no longer doing their hunter pace series. There was some talk of one starting up in Macedon? But not sure on that one.

Oh, that would be extra great. Please let me know if you hear anything more about this.
