My mother owned a 17hh Hanoverian gelding named Wiley Post, his sire was Walter Scott and his dam was a thoroughbred (not sure of the name). He was sold around the age of 10 in 2004 or 2005 to a sales barn up by Napa. His breeder was Gene Shaw. I know it’s a long shot, but does anyone know what became of this horse?
She also lost track of another horse named C.C./Cece. He was a flea-bitten gray thoroughbred, we think unraced. His show name was Cloud Cover. He was somewhere in the 16hh range and was sold at age 15-16 in 1996 or 1997. He was sold to a barn that no longer exists (not sure of the name) also in central Cali. We don’t know his lineage or breeder. This one’s an even longer shot, but you never know!

Could this be the TB? The age, color, sex all match (roan and grey are the same to the jockey club, even though they are genetically very different.

Possibly, though my mother purchased him in California and he wasn’t fresh off the track when she bought him.
