The Missouri DOC does not do good job in my opinion for listing sites with trails, camping, etc.
I just bought my first horse two years ago and would love to start going out with him besides just riding around my place.
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Depends on where you are in Missouri. Golden Hills in Raymondville is great. I have ridden at Wilson Creek Battlefield near Springfield. Near St. Louis, there is Greensfelder and Queeny parks. Cuivre River has great trails. We used to ride a good trail in Jonesburg.
There are some facebook groups for MO Riding trails as well

Have you heard of Eminence, MO?
They have a huge event every year with tons of trail riding options. I haven’t made it out there yet, but I’d like to.

I never went to Eminence because it is so huge and it’s pretty much a drunk fest. I have always gone to Golden Hills ---- smaller and people go out and ride, not sit around and drink all day.
Ah, I didn’t know that. Someone was trying to get me to go last year but I couldn’t make it. Good to know! I’d much rather be out riding than sitting around.
