Looking for some insight into my guy's pedigree (TB & warmblood people!)

May be a huge shot in the dark, but I’m curious if anyone on here is familiar with Ukrainian/ Russian breeding. My horse is pretty darn neat, quite striking, and as we are starting to show a little more, people are asking about his breeding. And I’d like to sound a little more erudite than my answer now; “he’s by a Ukrainian racehorse out of a Ukrainian mare”

So, anything in this pedigree ring any bells? Was his sire even a good racehorse? Lol!

I’m from Ukraine, so I don’t know anything about Batun, but I know well about the Orhideya line! She is from the elite of the breed. If we start with Hobot, he was the second line in the breed, and he was a great and famous sire. His son Rezerv had a successful career as a dressage horse, and from him were produced excellent broodmares, sport horses, and sires as well. And his most successful son was Iris This horse had a lot of attention - he was ideal in type and movement qualities, a bright successor of the Khobot line, which regularly supplied dressage with high-class sports stars. In this category are Olympic champions Ihor (Hobot – Infra) and Shkval (Kokhany – Sherenga), winners and prize-winners of the largest national competitions of the USSR. In terms of the quality of gaits, Iris was a few steps ahead of the requirements for dressage horses of his time. His phenomenal movements were inherited by all children, regardless of the combination with the origin of their mothers. In the sport, his children demonstrated high-quality gaits, lightness, and elegance. Mares from Iris were in great demand and represent great value for breeders. The influence of this stallion on the quality of show horses of the breed was huge, and people always said that producers of such importance as Iris were born quite rarely.
