I am an adult rider on a budget with experience in hunters and jumpers. I am looking for a trainer that can help me make it to the 1.20/30 jumpers without breaking the bank. I am located in the Bedford, Ny: Greenwich CT area. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!
Do you have a horse or need a school horse, if so can you part lease?
Where are are you now riding level wise?
General idea of your budget?
How far do you want to drive?
Hopefully answering these will get you some recommendations. Biggest obstacle will be a horse to take you up the levels if you don’t own one now.
You are unlikely to find lesson horses jumping that level, so you may need to budget a lease. If you have your own horse, do you know if he’s experienced and capable to that height?
