We are looking for a yellow pup for my mom. She recently lost her golden/shepherd to cancer and has declared that she is ready for a replacement. Best home ever! Fenced, suburban, pool, endless hugs and snuggles.
I have never actively looked for a dog before, and petfinder and craigslist just aren’t doing it. Do any of you know of any puppy litters around or have contacts of reputable breeders? anything?

We had a great experience with Lost Dog Rescue - they were friendly and very easy to work with and our pup has been exactly what we were looking for. CityDogs Rescue in DC also seemed great.
Have you tried one of the local rescues? They usually have a TON of available Labradors.

Or Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART). I got my first cat from them.
A Lab rescue will fix you up with the perfect dog. Just find the closest one. There are many out there as Labs are the best dogs ever.
Get one over the age of two. Unless your mother is under 50. The she can deal with a Lab pup. Maybe.
