I’m going to be visiting my snowbird parents in Bradenton in the first week of March. I’ve been thinking of doing a lesson or going for a ride on one of the days that my parents will be golfing.
I own a horse and have been riding my whole life in both english and western disciplines. I’ve worked at stables since I was in high school and am currently a beginners instructor at a reining stable. I mostly stick to trail rides with my own horse and am usually out for 2 hours minimum with him doing walk trot canter and take the dogs with us too.
I’m looking to either do a dressage or jumping lesson since it’s been a while since I’ve ridden English with an instructor or do a trail ride experience that involves more than walking. The few places that I have found that do those types of trail rides have mixed reviews, so I’m lost on where to look. I would also be open to doing more than one lesson if I enjoy my first lesson.
