I would like to look up an old post and am not sure how to do it…Can someone explain it to me?

There are several ways you can search for old posts:
Using Search
-
click on “search” from the blue bar at the top of the page, then click “advanced search” from there.

using the advanced search, you can run searches for key words found in a thread title or post, or posts or threads made by specific posters.

you can limit the search to specific forums or search across the entire board
-
be advised that search terms have to be at least 4 characters long
By Profile
- if you want to look up past posts by a certain poster, from that user’s profile, click on “find all posts by xyz” or “find all threads started by xyz”
By Thread
- when you have a thread of interest open, you can click on “search this thread” on the right side of the top of the first post and input keywords you’d like to find just within that thread.
