Bump

still no sign of him despite lots of searching by Woodford Hounds members and many, many others. He is likely no longer on the grounds of Shaker Village, likely that either he wandered beyond that or someone picked him up. Please keep spreading the word so that every horse person is aware and watching for him

Oh man. Luckily it’s a big white horse, that will be helpful unless there’s a lot of snow.

Hope horse is located soon. Not in the area, but will keep bumping.

Jingles for a safe return.

He was finally found today

Good deal.

Is he ok?

Apparently he had his saddle under his belly and a pretty good rub on his withers, but considering that he’d been lost for over a week, he was just fine!

I’m glad he is mostly ok.

Glad they found him. Horse and owners are probably all grateful!!!

Whew! Glad to hear he’s back, and not too much worse for wear. Any details? Was he far from where he got loose?

Joyful holidays for his owner!!!

From the Ky Horse Council, I heard he was found on the back of a nearby farm. The farm owner went rabbit hunting, and found Lemon in his woods. What wonderful news for his owner!

Love that name. And so glad he’s home.

Lemon is such a lovely horse. I was really worried about him, because our weather had gone from warm to extremely cold. I am so thankful that he was finally found. The MFH’s sent out a photo. In the photo, the rub does not look like it broke the skin. I love Christmas miracles!

At least he wasn’t stolen (which didn’t seem likely if his bit and reins were found - stepped on them and broke them himself?)

So now that the big lug has happily been found safe and relatively sound, one wonders… how is the saddle?
