I am posting this for my cousin in Villa Rica, GA. As I’m sure everyone is aware, the flooding in GA is very bad. Three horses at her barn were swept away. One was found alive, one was found dead and her horse has not yet been found. My cousin and her daughter are of course heartbroken.
His name is Rico and he is a Lippizaner/Andy cross gelding, fleabitten grey with a silver-ish mane and tail. Around 15hh. She was boarding him at Willowbrook Equestrian Center. The property is near a river (not sure which one) and she is concerned that he may have been carried a long way and may not be in the immediate area anymore. She has already searched the surrounding properties, posted flyers and talked to everyone she could find.
Please PM me if you have any information on this horse, good or bad. I can give you my cousin’s cell phone #.
Thanks!
