I am so sorry for the loss of your Mother.
Take care.

Oh hunterested, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother.
I cannot imagine your grief but as others have encouraged, do know that this BB is a wonderful place to seek moral support when all seems impossible.
“Mommy, does it really matter?” - Sumo toddler, age 3
I lost my mom 4 years ago. Dad died 3 days before my wedding. MAN did I whine!
In all seriousness, you have my deepest sympathy. Losing a parent is the first and scariest step toward recognizing your own mortality. When all those things get lumped together it’s difficult. My horse/riding helped keep my sane when my mom died, and I’m sorry that you’ll not have that avenue.
Some day you’ll look back on this summer and wonder how you survived. Trust me, it will be tough but you will survive.
I can’t add any more to what the wise people on this forum have already said. Just please know that my thoughts and prayers are certainly with you!
My thoughts are with you, I am helping a friend go through the loss of her husband and I can only just sit and mourn with her. There just are no words to ease you through this. You seem like such a nice person and had a great sounding, supportive mother, I’m sure your whole family misses her so much. I do hope your knee gets better too.
