Low Country Hunt Week - now!

Heading to Low Country’s Hunt Week this am. Lookingforward to it…haven’t been to an organilzed Hunt Week Trip in quite awhile. This will be the 32nd hunt I’ve hunted with over my 26 years of hunting!

I’ll be on a solid black horse, so if any COTHERS are there please say hi. It’s fun to put faces with names…

Congratulations to the folks of Low Country Hunt. What a fabulous weekend~!..they sure know how to entertain. The scenery and places/plantations we visited were breathtaking. The food and drink was beyond compare! The hounds, and Green Creek’s hounds did a great job, and the horses and riders were from all over (some from PA, some from CO, our group from FL…lots from VA)…It was sooo fun to see old friends and meet new ones…

Photos?

Glad you had a great time.

I was there, with my current future ex bf, and will shortly post pix. Currently at a marathon driving event at Katydid in Aiken, moving to Tryon tonight so will be able to break radio silence!

Yes, indeed!

It was so fun to see so many old friends from hunts past…then went to Aiken Sun pm and caught up with Oliver Brown and the HUGE group from Rappahannock for dinner! What a fun group (and trip they must be having!)
It was fun to see Scout, a gelding by my stallion, Claim to Fame, that Joan Brown is riding!!!
Sorry about the current soon to be ex, Hunters Rest!!

Gaaaahhhhhh — DO YOU PEOPLE have irony on your planet!!!
IT. IS. A. JOKE. to say ‘current future ex-bf.’
For. Gods. Sakes.
(rolling eyes icon.)
I was kidding*. Just being funny. : )

Irregardless – had a ball down in Low Country. Tried to out-do a former record of eating 40 oysters at the bayou roast (think I did 50 this year!)
Sorry to miss ya’ll in Aiken, Fla Foxhunter. We were there thru Wednesday. Now in Tryon. But its raining. : (
Having a lesson with Gerald and Betsy Pack tomorrow, maybe hunting with Tryon this weekend.

HR always says that! She’s a hoot.

I’m insanely jealous. It is nothing but disgusting muck around here. Hock deep or greasy. I’m slipping just walking across the yard. Horses are in a sacrifice paddock and plotting a mutiny with the cooped up chickens.

Sigh.

But I am glad that y’all are having a great time. Sniff. Really.

Yes, Jealous is The Word.
We are hock deep in muck here, too. I don’t know how many times I’ve fallen with my feet/boots still stuck in one place.
I love the bayou country and the live oak trees.

LOL HR. I got the joke.

Glad I wasn’t the only one to not “get” the bf remark. Wasn’t sure if it meant you guys were getting married or breaking up!!!
We don’t say things like that here in southern VA:lol:

There was a great photographer out on the days we went out from Hayne Hall and Airy Hall. It was a gorgeous, fun, magical trip! http://erikolsenphotography.exposuremanager.com/g/huntweek
