I am relatively short (5’4") and really short-waisted. Regular rise breeches look ok on me when I am walking around, but when I am sitting on a horse, they come up to the bottom of my bra! (Not a good look!;)) I need some everyday full seats that don’t break the bank that don’t make me feel like humpty-dumpty when I am riding! (BTW, the Ariats fit me strangely, too much fabric around the crotch area.) Any suggestions?
I am similar build and cannot wear regular breeches comfortably when riding for same reason.
I love the Pikeur Cindy, or the Cavallo Chamionesse (both low rise)
You can get them for a lot less if you order from Europe…
I use www.classicdressage.com - you do not pay the VAT tax…

they are worth the $$$$ last a VERY long time
fast shipping too!
I personally love the Riding Sport Competitor F/S Breech. They’re low rise with a wider waistband and VERY comfy. I will say they run a good size or two big, but they are very nice for a price that won’t eat your wallet! I just got 2 pairs in Dovers sale catalog for I think $69.90 - can’t beat that!

I like the Neddy’s fullseat lowrise. And they often have specials…even more appealing.

I have the same problem and I spent years rolling down the tops of normal breeches until I found Tropical Riders. Their low-rise cut that fits me like a normal rise and its all I can wear now.
Thanks for the suggestions, and for posting the links! Makes shopping easier!
Boink makes a low rise, full seat tight that fits great.
Goode Rider also has a low rise breech. They (the company) are my new favorites for breeches that are good quality and less expensive than my Golden Dress/Pikeurs.
I am 5’3" and short waisted as well–can completely relate to the breeches coming up to the bra problem!! I also have the Riding Sport Competitor breeches, love the fit and material and price. My very favorite breeches are the Kentucky California City though–I am super cheap when it comes to spending money on human clothing of any sort, but they are more than worth the money in my opinion. Interestingly, both brands of these low rise breeches still come up over my belly button; fortunately, they do not extend up to my sternum like other breeches!
I am 5’6 but I have very long legs and I am short waisted. I also can’t stand full seat breeches but when it comes to getting white-they are mostly all full seat. The best ones I have found are the Kerrits-I don’t think they are labeled as low rise but they do not come up very high and double as a bra! They are also the most comfortable in my opinion and are affordable. Actually-Kerrits are really the only kind of breeches I even buy anymore. You can’t beat the comfort!
VTO has hip hugger breeches in their VTO brand, even have show whites. I havent tried the full seats, but i have a ton of colors of their knee patch. They wear well, though some colors have faded after several washings… I even took a couple, stripped the color out, and re-dyed them bright green and aqua…
You might ask about the full seat sizing, the knee patch runs a size large, which always makes me feel good to put on that smaller number… LOL
Full Seat $59.95:

Those look really baggy on the model, i know my knee patch dont fit that way at all, so not sure what is going on there.
Knee Patch $37.95 (They have white in knee patch too, for those that dont like full seats… ME!):

They still come over my belly button too… 5’3 with NO waist… Sigh… I envy all those people that can tuck in their shirts and wear cute belts to ride… I look retarded when i do that. I’ve never been in high rise breeches, but i’m betting they could double as a sports bra for me! Spent many years rolling down breeches though. How uncomfortable!
I LOVE the Tropical Riders low rise. They come in a petite size too, although you’ll probably either need to buy it directly from them, or have it special ordered. Most of the tack stores don’t seem to carry it. I think it’s about 3" shorter in the legs, and a bit shorter in the rise.
I’ll second the Goode Rider breeches. I’m 5’1" and they fit me very well in the waist. No more breeches doing double duty as a bra!
