Luciana’s GP win

Wow what a story and fairytale ending!

Huge congratulations to Luciana Lossio and her team, love seeing an amateur working stiff qualify for a 5* Grand Prix …… and then take it all yesterday! Spoiler alert, she won lat night’s Baingbridge GP at WEF, love this quote:

“Friday was International Women’s Day, so I think they may have let me win because of that,” said Lossio, an amateur who works full time as a lawyer in Brazil. “Tonight was our night. In the warmup, she was telling me, ‘I want to go.’ She’s very strong and I have to be there trying to keep her in my hands because she really likes to jump.”

Amazing. As one working stiff to another, huge congratulations and please tell us more on how you structure your life to build the skills to compete at this level - I’d love to know more. Perhaps COTH can do a write up.

Her interview on the live feed right afterwards was great. She sounded like she could hardly believe it herself!

I watched last night. That was a tricky course.

She looked so thrilled, smiling and happy.

I missed the interview. Thanks MHM.

Oh fun, WEF weekly caught up with her and got an interview:

Interview is at the 5:30 mark, basically rides on the weekends and once in a while during the week. What a great story!
