Belle hasnt been feeling well, she’s been up and down for a week. Vet examined her this am and is fairly certain it’s lymphoma, as her spleen is very enlarged. Just in case it’s only (the odds are it is not but they want to try if they can keep her feeling ok )an infection, she’s on Gabentin and antibiotics for a few days.
We’re indulging her as much as we can this weekend. and keeping the puppy away from annoying her. Jingles for a peaceful passing appreciated.

I just love beagles. A friend of mine has several and a lot are seniors. They are so sweet.

My daughter is very pragmatic, and while she’ll grieve of course, we know her husband will take it very hard. Belle is his baby out of the pack of four. Therefore I’m going to make comfort food this weekend, for all of us, Belle included.

Three weeks after dx we had to put her down
