Sofia Cady’s horse looks like he has an absolutely massive stride. She got a bit long to 4a and he ended up taking down 4b behind.

I thought the same thing! Charlie is darling. I’m a fan of Charlie. Can I have that one for my mother? Go a little short? Okay! Go a little long? Okay!
I wonder how they will judge the rail she had. Otherwise agree, Charlie is adorable!
It bothered me more than Hannah Hoch’s rail. Two changes of stride shown in the line that ended on that rail.
But Charlie didn’t care. If we can pull a Medal Finals and award Best Equitation Horse to an animal that doesn’t return in the top 25, my vote is for Charlie.

I think they did that at medal finals this year. Best horse went to ivano s.
For those of us planning our days, time check: we are an hour in and we are on rider #30. However, I’m expecting closer to 25 trips per hour for the upcoming because this batch has had 5 or 6 whose days ended early on course and the next entry has been prompt in.

Wow this is a tough course. Very different then Medal Finals - this course is really going to weed them out.
I just realized there are a couple of jump crew guys stationed inside that ring decoration so they can reset the green hedge combination throughout the day as needed. I hope they brought snacks. Lol.

The NHS site wouldn’t load for me at all, on either laptop or phone – the latter I tried first because I just couldn’t get up for the first trips (and the commentators said the first kid nailed it?).
Weirdly, I am getting a bigger and nicer CMH window having switched to Safari on a new laptop from Chrome on my old one – I don’t know if not being logged in to my CMH account in Safari has anything to do with it. Going to try to multitask.
I know there’s been some discussion here that some of the courses at the other finals this season have seemed a little soft compared to previous years… not today!

Does anyone know what happened to Elli yeagers horse copperfield? He was incredible. I know he passed but never knew what happened.

Augusta may have just gone to the top of my mental standby list… that was such a soft, accurate round.
I have Zayna, Augusta, Skylar as my top 3. Great to have two such good trips in a row. Getting hairy there for awhile.
