Maclay Finals

It wouldn’t hurt to check the livestream earlier If you’re hearing that. Doesn’t George say that if you’re early you’re on time, and if you’re on time you’re late?

that sounds about right. When I did a GM clinic a few years ago, one girl showed up 5 minutes late and he gave her a lecture in front of everyone and picked on her for the rest of the session. He doesn’t like it when people show up late !!!

Who trains the top 3 riders for today? Sorry if I missed the answer in an earlier post.

Off the top of my head, I believe Madison G. rides with Beacon Hill for the equitation.

They just now announced a12:45 start, but I plan to get on early.

Thanks, any idea about Freedman and Rever? They all have beautiful leg/seat/hand position.

This very useful document from Harrisburg lists Revers with Max Amaya as the trainer (so maybe another Beacon Hill-er?), and Freedman with the Langmeiers.

I agree, the top ones yesterday looked both fantastic and effective.

Flat is starting now!

Oof. Unfortunate for the kids who were late on the lead change from the counter canter.

bights on the left side? No!!

I’m surprised the judges didn’t ask for more lateral on the flat

I can’t get the live feed to work. arrghh!!

There are four greys in the second group. That’s 50%.

I’m surprised they’re not asking for more lateral work. But that counter canter has been tricky for a few. So many greys!

I wish they would show more than one rider st a time

Also Taylor St Jacque came to slay today, she has such lovely flatwork

Is the audio not working?

Mine is, I’m on Safari

When I first tuned in, I had about a 45-second delay before my audio kicked in. There is no commentary, as that would obscure the announcer. I am on Chrome.

Could you please share the link? Maybe I’m not where I should be. Thanks!
