MAG flakes?

Does anyone near Frederick county know where to find MAG flakes? Our arena is dusty dusty dusty! The shops I would usually purchase the flakes from tell me they’re no longer carrying them and the company was a huge shipping fee to buy direct.

I have been looking too. Let me know if you find a good resource.

I am hoping with ice season coming that Home Depot, Walmart or Costco will carry Mag Chloride for de-icing. They have it on their websites, but none of them stock it.

Simm’s Lumber “Do it best” told me to order it from them online and they will send it to a local store. Its about 29 per bag in stead of 20 advertised elsewhere… but at least they will actually get it. https://www.doitbest.com/products/safe-step-extreme-8300-magnesium-chloride-ice-melt#description

I believe these are pellets. I could not find flakes at all.

I’m told that Safestep 8300 is the equivalent in pellets. I think TrueValue and other hardware stores sell them.

If there is an Agway or Southern States store near you, call them and inquire.

We had Mag flakes in past years here at Agway in Lancaster County, PA, when others did not.

Still searching!

Southern States apparently uses MAG but does not sell it.
