Making Freestyle music

Looking for a program or app that can help with this compilation process. Please share ideas.

Garage band? Anyone tried it?

Garage Band could work.

I use Audacity.

I use Audacity but with my last PC used QBase. I didn’t have any luck with Garage Band. When I wanted to change a tempo GB would apply the change to all the tracks. Audacity is easier to keep all tracks separate and work on them until you’re ready to put them all together.

I do all of mine in Garage Band.

I recently heard of an app called Razzo to make freestyle dressage music, but it doesn’t seem to be available on my appstore, so dunno about that one.

Audacity has always been my go to do any music edits, but I’ve played a little with Sony’s Sound Forge and it’s pretty easy to get a grip on, just didn’t keep it after the free trial because the software is a bit expensive.

Funny suggestion also, the very first freestyle I did, the CD wasn’t working and ended up trying to remix the music (kind of) on my phone using the Splice app (you can overlap songs for transitions but no adjusting the beats per minute), and used an AUX cord to play it over the speakers. This was back when 1 in 10 friends (maybe) had an AUX cord in their car and people still used CDs. Good lesson to always have backup files/copies of your music I guess.

I do mine in GarageBand. It’s not obvious but there’s a way to adjust BPMs.

If you need to find music, I’ve found this website helpful for coming up with ideas by BPM: https://jog.fm/workout-songs-by-bpm
