Making water buckets in stall safer

I haven’t, but I’ve read about it in a lot of different places for tough joins of things! Might be worth a try?

If it breaks, we’ll just say it was an intentional break-away tie to keep the horses safe :wink: in all seriousness though, I wouldn’t think it would be the end of the world if it broke for that exact reason. (sorry to derail the thread!)

The owner has purchased new rubber buckets for the water. DH will be tackling the project this weekend. I am not sure if he is going to tack weld the look, JB weld the look or what. Either way he will recoat the loops with Plastic Dip. That is a product for recoating handles on pliers.
I will update in a few weeks to let everyone know how it goes.

I have these buckets. They work great for feed, not so great for water.
