What kind of material do you use to line a saddle pad?
I’ve made several. I use a thick polyester batting.
I use the fusible batting for quilts. . .the thinner stuff, as we all use half pads. The fusible batting seems to be the easiest for staying put. You can baste the top and bottom then iron so it sticks, then quilt!
I use polyester batting and sometimes a layer of felt depending on how thick I want the pad.
