So I just got done earlier today telling someone the sob story about my first horse and it occurred to me I really want to know what happened to them both. She was pregnant when we got her and ended up giving birth to a cute little chestnut colt in May of 1997 or so. He had this neat blaze that widened over his eyes and nearly encircled one eye and just arched over the other. He also had four white socks, taller on his hind legs. My parents ended up selling him as an almost-yearling to a couple with a kid who wanted him for said kid so they could “grow up together” (I know, I know. I know better now, anyway). He wasn’t gelded when he was sold so I guess he could be either a stallion or a gelding at this point.
Anyway, we had him in Vicksburg, MS and that would’ve been in 1998.
I’ll try to dig up the pictures I still have of him as a baby.
