When I try to go to the COTH homepage or Login to the forums I get a Malware Detected warning and my computer blocks it. The virus name is BehavesLike.HTML.Obfuscated.cr. Wondering if COTH knows this?
I run Safari and haven’t seen this warning when visiting COTH.

FWIW, you are not the only one. Not recently, but when I first joined COTH it was on my brand new laptop and it was immediately hit with malware and I had to bring it to my local IT shop. The “Geek Squad” (dating myself here) had me download Avast (also dating myself here) as well as a plugin Ad-blocker and told me that the source came from COTH.
I got redirected a few times and told the connection was not secure as well.
You should report this directly to the moderator.
Can you flag your own post or does someone need to do it for you?

The tech folk scanned the site for malware and nothing was reported. They said it might be possible that an installed ad blocker could be reporting malware incorrectly.
@WB Mom Do you have an ad blocker installed by chance?
@halt We did have an issue with evil doers exploiting a software vulnerability to redirect the site a while back, so your issues may have coincided with that. Have you experienced any trouble recently?

I only get it while I am at work. I know our IT department is on top of everything, as I am at a Nuclear Power Plant and I’m sure you can only imagine how strict and complicated our IT and Cyber Security departments are. I got it a while back, and then it stopped. Now I am getting it again, for about the past month or so. I don’t get it on any other site. I will look into any adblocker, but I may not be able to mark the site as safe. Thanks for looking into this!
