Managing spinal stenosis

My 8 yo dog has exhibited some back and body pain this year and the vet said she has mild spinal stenosis. She is relatively active, comfortable, and happy, but i have noticed the day after she “overdoes it”, she has some symptoms (incontinence at bedtime, sometimes pain). We are keeping gabapentin around so i can give her some before she becomes symptomatic on the days where she has more activity than average.

I would like to maximize her quality of life as long as possible, so though we don’t let her jump on/off things, i hope to keep her in regular activity like walking. Is there any beneficial stretching, physical therapy, other therapies, maybe a BoT blanket, supplements, etc that help?

My current German Shepherd has hind end problems and also suffers after overdoing things.
I do several things for her comfort and pain.

  1. lots of swimming several times per week.
2, Hyaluronic acid, I use 100x for horses
  2. GlycoFlex Plus
    4, senior dog multi vitamins
    5, keep excess weight off

I tried fish oil but she got diarrhea so she gets a can of salmon or other fish several times per week.
