Any input on if the manely products are worth it?

Also is there anything special about the spray bottles other than the fact that they have the proportions on them for the hydrate 24? Seems pricey for a basic spray bottle with a little print on it unless there is some difference in the nozzles etc.

I bought the big bottle of Polish Protector/Detangler years ago, at least three of four, and still going strong! I really like it. It doesn’t make the hair all weird feeling like it gets from some detangled like there’s a film and no tackiness either like other products. I have one of the little bottles of the same stuff at home, sometimes I use it on my own hair after washing if I ran out of conditioner.

I don’t have the empty “Mix” bottle pack though, just the big thing of detangler so can’t speak for that but I like the brand.

I LOVE the detangler. It doesn’t leave a film and lasts quite a few days before you need to reapply (smells nice too). I also have the spray on conditioner that comes with the two bottles. Haven’t used to smaller bottle because it calls for a LOT of the conditioner; the larger bottle uses a small amount with water. Probably won’t repurchase the conditioner when it runs out since my pony doesn’t have any coat or skin issues… He has a very very long white mane and darker forelock and the detangler is effective with just a tiny amount. It also keeps his mane white, and he lives outside 24/7 in a dirt/mud/poop field.

I had a small sample of Cowboy Magic that I was using up on my pony’s tail and had excess on my hands so I smoothed it on my short/buzzcut hair. ICK!! It made my hair so sticky and gunky.

In almost 50 years of being around horses I have never purchased Show Sheen. It feels like Armor All and all that silicone can’t be good for any type of hair. Manely Detangler doesn’t leave that slickness.

I was gifted a sample size of the detangler. IMO it is the same product as the Cowboy Magic Detangler and Shine. I checked out their prices…yikes!

I am trying to use up my sample bottle and then I will go back to my old reliable, the pink concentrate stuff. The brand name is escaping me.
