Manure Catcher for English Saddles

Hi everyone!

I show my horse in the hunters most of the time but occasionally like to go out on the trails. Since I don’t want to stop and pick up manure off the trail, I’ve been looking for manure catchers, but they’re all for Western saddles.

Anyone have any tips or brands for this problem? I guess I could get an extra long one and attach it to the breastplate attachment.

Are you able to step off the trail and allow the horse to pass manure there?

You might ask a tack repair specialist to add D-rings to your saddle so a M-catcher like this would work.

Or ask Bun Bag manufacturer if their’s will fit an english saddle?

The BunBag site has a ‘10 Saddle Horse Bareback Attachment’ that may work when attached to the stirrup bars.

Edited to add… If your horse has never worn one it may take a little getting used to.
