Can you use both Mare Magic and Quiessence at the same time? My mare is on Quiessence and I’ve noticed a difference but she’s still very mareish and moody (I understand Quiessence doesn’t help with mareish problems). If you were to use both Mare Magic and Quiessence at the same time would that cause issues?
I don’t think it would. MM is herbs like raspberry leaves and Q is magnesium and chromium so totally different ways to address mood/temperament. I would think they would compliment each other.
I use them together on several horses. Never had a problem

Same thing- mare magic helped a horse I had that was constantly in heat/stressed the heck out but she still wasnt at 100%. Added Quiessence and she chilled right out.
No experience using both at once. I switched over to straight raspberry leaves. Cheaper than Mare Magic & more effective IME
If you’re talking about crankiness when she’s in season - try dropping some copper pipe sleeves into her water bucket. They used to use pennies. It sure worked on one of our grand dames.
There is no problem feeding both, but it may be redundant.
Mare Magics is nothing more than Raspberry leaves, which are effective because of their high magnesium. Meanwhile, quiessence is also a magnesium supplement. Yes, they are different types of magnesium and different absorption levels that might come into play. But for the most part the supplements are not doing wildly different things.
