Mare Sharing--free broodmare leases

Royal Appearance/Grannus/Karthago/Magister mare for free lease!

Due to a recent change of cirumstances here, I must offer my wonderful mare for lease. I really wanted to breed her this year, but there is just no way it is going to happen. She has a jumping pedigree, and has a wonderful jumping talent, but she could also produce dressage horses. She is a maiden mare, 7 years old. Just as sweet as they come, loves to be in your pocket. I can take some more pictures of her if you’d like. She can’t stay here, like I said, recent change of cirumstances. I really really don’t want to sell her.

Please see this link for more pictures: http://secretambitionstables.com/roxannah.htm

Please feel free to email with ANY questions you may have! She needs to be placed ASAP!

I’m in central FL and am looking for a mare to use for an embryo transfer. If anyone has something suitable, with a good mind, please let me know.

Looking for a really really nice broodmare for lease!

I am looking for a TB or TBx broodmare to lease for 2008. The mare must be 16.1hh or better, conformationally correct, elegant/refined in stature, no vices, proven broodmare with good movement. Show record is obviously a definite plus. No greys please, (not a knock on greys I own one that I ADORE - just not for this stallion).

Mare should be approved for breeding with CWHBA, ISR/OLD, RPSI, Dutch, GOV or Hanoverian.

Top notch care at our farm in Orangeville. She will be well loved! (Would also consider an on farm lease for the right mare).

ASAP please.

Please email me at fieldstone@sympatico.ca with photos, pedigree and full details of your mare if she fits the description above.

Thank you

Proven WEF Champion Broodmare For Free Lease

Always wanted a top quality conformation hunter? A proven broodmare, Grace, was bred by the famous Hidden Creek’s farm, known internationally for their world-class jumpers. She showed and won in the Green Conformation Hunters at WEF (where she was Champion ridden by Margie Goldstein Engle!) and then continued her winning ways with Liza Towell at Aiken, Biltmore and other major “A” shows before her retirement from active competition. She has been inspected RPSI and accepted into their Elite studbook. She is sired by the Holsteiner stallion Hidden Creek’s Creighton (AHHA # 241301 105288) out of the Holsteiner mare Hidden Creek’s Merci (AHHA # 212102 1025 81). Although she was never registered with the American Holsteiner Horse Association, the leasee could do so if they wished by paying the registration fee. She is an elegant mare who passes her movement and style on to her foals, two of which can be seen at my website: www.perfectponies.com . Only available at this time as personal circumstances prevent me from breeding her in the near future. This mare is not warranted as a riding horse!! She is pasture sound and has only been a broodmare for the last 5 years. I suppose she might stay sound enough for occassional light trail riding but please do not view this as a way of obtaining a free show hunter! This would be a free lease for one year through weaning of the foal, allowing the leasee to breed Grace this season. Leasee would pay all shipping, vet bills, regular vet and farrier charges for the lease year.

I am also willing to allow Zephyr to be used for ET - she has been bred three times to a 17.1hh TB stallion and has had three easy and uncomplicated foalings. She foals in late afternoon (so far!) and has not needed assistance (foalings observed, but unassisted). She is a good mother and is very sweet herself. She is 15.3hh.

i have a 15.3 4yr old tb mare out of favorite trick and a thirty six red mare solid bay nice mover maiden off the track but has come into heat

Open. Has produced nice foals.

Broodmare Available in MI:
I have a 16.3h Westfalen mare (1996), GOV Main Mare Book, who has had two foals. She’s a super mom, but hasn’t had a foal in several years as I am drastically reducing my herd. She’s an old type, large mare but with nice movement by Vienna Waltz. She’s grey, and parents were both grey. Also, she has tended to run about 350 days gestation, as did her full sister.

I also have two other young mares, maiden that I am considering posting, but still a little hesitant.
*edit: one has already been spoken for! whew!

Please PM if interested. *Can no longer transport long distances, but MI, OH, IN, PA, IL could be arranged if by Aug. 15.

*UPDATE: She has been cultured clean with a grade I uterus. My first choice in placement has fallen through, and I am still looking to place her.

The Rubenstein/Dr. Doolittle mare has been placed, and I still have another Vienna W/Warrior mare who I’d like to send out for a year.

I am having my hip replaced at the end of August so I’d really like to find someone who doesn’t mind breeding for a late season foal.

Three pony mares for free lease

I have three pony mares available for free lease, located in KY, your place or mine. All three mares are sound, no health or soundness problems, no breeding problems and have produced one or more live, healthy foals.

 1. Junebug: 12 hand black half-Connemara mare, 9 years old

 2. Kitti: 13.1 hand chestnut tobiano Trak/Arab/Welsh cross, 8 years old

 3. Tracy: 14 hand black 3/4 Arab, 8 years old

Tracy was put under saddle as a youngster, green but sensible, hasn’t been ridden for several years. The other two mares were never started. Junebug’s one foal has shown jumping ability and she has a half-sister that is a successful hunter pony. Kitti has exceptional dressage type movement and I am keeping her first daughter myself for my sportpony/dressage breeding program. Tracy has produced two exceptionally nice Welsh cross hunter prospects.

I have a young stallion prospect that I think will be an excellent cross to these mares, but he will not be fully evaluated and ready to breed for 2 or 3 years, so would like to free lease them while I’m waiting.

SPORT HAFLINGER for broodmare lease–nice dressage movement, willing, safe and sane. also likes to jump and is very personable and athletic. 14 hands and elegant, not drafty. central new york, new jersey,ct. mass.,vt.

1995 Large grey JC registered TB mare by Jade Hunter. Approximately 16.3 hh. Has had 6 foals. Foals easy and has large nice looking foals. She has beautiful hunter-type movement. Currently open – not bred this year. She is upto date on shots, etc. I am offering her for a free breeding lease as we are re-focusing our breeding to ponies and she is too big. Located in NE Florida.

12/13/08 Mare placed

I have and older TB mare that is a great mom and free to a good home. She has carried 2 foals that I know of, both are amazing!!!

She is 16.2h dark bay roan, out of Coxs Ridge. I cannot ween her current filly until October so this would have to wait until then or even next year if you want to get and early start for next season.

Even though she is older she was really easy to get into foal. She has a clean culture and negative coggins.

As a younger mare she was a champion Show Jumper, winning in childerns jumpers and modified jrs. She is no longer sound to ride, but has been healthy and happy in the pasture for the 2 years I have owned her, with no problems.

Please pm me if you are interested. I would be willing to help with shipping cost to a good home.

UPDATE

This mare is now entered into the Main Mare book for the AHHA. She is still available and quite lovely. I really need to find her a good home!!!

Just wanted to announce that this mare will be available for 2009. It turns out the person interested for 2008 only had two straws in their frozen dose, so it wasn’t enough to get a mare bred (per the vet).

So, let me know if you are interested.
Free lease available on a 16.3H Bit Of Class daughter. I am not going to rebreed this year and she is too nice of a mare to not use. She was 3rd as a yearling on the line in the IHF and a champion over fences at Warrenton. She is a sabino chestnut. I would prefer that she stays on my farm in FL.

Here is her pedigree:

I have attached pics of her as a yearling and a four year old, plus her dam (bay) and her 2008 colt.
Hanoverian/TB broodmare for lease

Proven broodmare, approved GOV mare book and registered AWS. She is by the Hanoverian dressage stallion Mattgold (Matrose x Duft II) out of a TB mare. Easy to breed, very sweet, no vices, excellent temperament, conformation and manners.

She was a JR Hunter champion before a sesamoid injury cut short her career. She’s completely sound and have xrays to prove but would prefer she be retired from jumping. She can be ridden on the flat, trails and lessons.

15’3 hands, 11 yo, bright bay with 4 white socks and blaze, she has had 3 foals. Her yearling colt was USDF All Breed National Champion and German Oldenburg National Champion for 2007. Her weanling colt was given the highest praise for “best temperament of the day” by the judges at the Oldenburg inspection.

She is offered for on or off farm lease, prefer east coast, south area. We are located in Central FL. Leasee responsible for expenses and insurance.

Can also be used for embryo transfers. Please PM or email me for pics/more info. Serious inquiries only please, thanks!

Free 15 year old TB Mare in So. Cal

15 Year old TB broodmare, free to good home. 16.1 hands, current on all shots, deworming, in good health. Good conformation and movement.

Home needed for Hano approved mare

Help, a mare I bred is in need of home… her owner (single working mother of 2) was in a terrible car crash last weekend and will be in the hospital for another month, then to re-hab.

The mare is 16.2hh tb by Gray Sulphur out a fantasticly moving mare I called Tango. “Sillouette” is very sweet, no vices, sound for light trail riding. Was approved for Hanoverian breeding with an overall 7. She has a fantastic, daisy cutter trot with amazing suspension. I trained her under saddle. She’s had one foal by Freestyle, now about 7 yrs old, who is also there at the ranch.

She’s in Hayden, Idaho now, and will go to the auction if I don’t find a home for her. We all know what that can mean.

I can give more details.

full sister to A Fine Romance

I have a full sister to A Fine Romance. She is a beautiful big bay, 16.2, small star, coronet band, beautiful mover and spectacular jumper.
Superb temperament and excellent mother.
She is full TB (by Brave Shot (GB - ex Two Bitter x Pluck) - 4x4 Nasrullah, 5x5 Princequillo, with Turn-to, Royal Charger, My Babu, Double Jay etc etc in her pedigree.
She will be 20 in 2009, but is in excellent health and has conceived and foaled without problems.
I would be interested in an on farm lease or possibly in ET with her in 2009.
I have not bred her for 3 years, and this is a big waste of this gorgeous mare.
please contact me by PM.
I may have others available too.
