Thanks, Mods. I’ll bite!
Ini is a beautiful 15.3 TB mare. Great bloodlines (a Prince John granddaughter), a great flat-kneed floaty mover, great conformation, great temperament, great producer (last filly by Pengwyn placed at Upperville in the pony yearling fillies class last year)–the whole package. She is an easy breeder, an easy keeper, and is very easy to work around.
She’s also sound, for those interested. She has done some local showing in hunters and, most recently, lower level eventing.

There are some pics of her on the website, www.fenwayfarm.net/Ini. I have a few better conformation pics as well as nicer headshot (she has a beautiful head and the pics on the site don’t really show that) that I just haven’t put up yet. Also pics of her last foal, for those interested. :)[/QUOTE]

Looking for broodmare

I am looking for a broodmare that is by any of these stallions: Final Pool, Viscount, Sir Thompson or Prince Gaylord. I am a small farm in Wisconsin looking to add a new mare to my program. www.dreamriverfarm.com

Looking for broodmares to lease for 2009… Breeding-- Voltaire, Alla C’zar, or many other sabino carrying lines of WBs! Will consider mares that are sabino themselves, and have SUPER athletic ability (do not have to be sound for riding, but if they are not sound they must be approved by some registries already.)

Taller than 16h prefered but not required! Does not have to be super flashy, just prefer the white bottom lip, with some socks/stockings.

Please email-- SundownFarmVA@aol.com with mares! On farm, or off farm will be considered!

Percheron/TB Broodmare/Nursemare Available - WA State

Big Momma is 16.2hh just under 1300# black/bay mare; 13 yrs old. Broodmare only - never been broke to ride.

Her foals have been very athletic, nice tempered and COLORED! Bred to a norwegian fjord, the filly looked like a great big norwegian fjord. Bred to a pinto, resulted in a nicely marked bay tobiano filly. Bred to an appy, produced a black/bay with spots on rear, who each year adds more spots to her body all over. This was her last foal, who is now coming three - she takes very easily - hand bred, pasture bred or AI. We just haven’t bred her recently, we were giving her time off after this one, then she adopted one for us.

ALSO - she has been used as a nursemare - holds milk long after weaning, and will come back into milk easily. Will accept other foals.

Looking for a broodmare in TX - FOUND A MARE

Thank you to all who contacted me regarding their mares. I have found a mare for my breeding!

I’m located in Central TX and I have a breeding to Gatsby, a 17h homozygous black Oldenburg stallion.

Looking for a 16.0h - 16.3h hunter type mare, refined to medium, not heavy. Prefer the short coupled body type with a nice back end and a nice neck. Good mind, easy going, jumping ability. Some chrome would be a bonus.

Wanted - Free TB or Warmblood mare(s)

Between the ages of 4 and 10. Free or free lease. We are looking for a few mares to prove frozen semen with. Do not need to be riding sound, but need to be, to the best of your knowledge, reproductively sound. Mares will have a good, peaceful life on pasture and be fed high quality feed, de-wormed every 8 weeks, farrier trimming regularly. Mare should be within 300 miles of Wynnewood, OK but will go further for the right mare. Email me privately at kathy@equine-reproduction.com

I have sent you a PM…

I have a friend looking for a free broodmare or free-lease - sound for light riding would be great. Something in the New England area would be best…TB or WB fine - looking to produce a nice hunter/jumper but an exceptional dressage mare may also be an option. Thanks!

Broodmare lease wanted

I am looking for a Clyde or Shire mare, or Cross of either. I have a certain look I am looking for.

I thought I was going to geld and retire my stallion but I really think I’d like to have one more foal because this years baby is so nice. I lost my Clyde a few years ago, and I really love them, so would like to have a cross of him on one.

15.3hh Black TB mare (with chrome) and 2006 16.2hh Dark Bay Dressage mare

I have a lovely, correct and kind mare that gave us a phenomenal Sagnol colt this year. Her foals are all very typey, lovely movers and correct (very social) with beautiful chiseled heads and this year’s colt is no exception. Easy breeder (first time) and foals easily. Great great mom

She has her Jockey Club Papers and is approved for breeding with Canadian Warmblood and RPSI. Pedigree can be found here: http://www.pedigreequery.com/gift+of+the+gab2

We didn’t breed any of our mares for 2009 as we’re retaining several, so she is available for a free lease this year. We are located in Orangeville, Ontario.

Also - a client in our barn has a lovely rising 3 year old Canadian Sport Horse mare - Zoey (she’s on our sale page) - and she has now decided that she would like to offer her filly for a broodmare lease only for the 2009 breeding season. Restrictions apply. If you are interested in breeding yourself a spectacular foal, this big 16.2hh dark bay mare with chrome could be your girl! (She is of Royal Senna / Goldschlaeger breeding). Visit http://www.fieldstone-farm.com/zoey.php This is a one-year lease option only - the mare will begin training for her show career as soon as the foal is weaned.

Email me at fieldstone@sympatico.ca if you are interested in hearing more about these two lovely mares.

Thank you

Shannon

16.2 JC Mare, MMB OLD NA

Misslorette is a 1994 Jockey Club mare by Let’s Go Blue out of Dunfanaghy/Sevestapol. 16.2h, bay with a large star, big bodied mare. Lorette is entered into the Main Mare book of ISR/Oldenburg with a score of 102 points. I have a video of the judges comments about her. She has had 2 Oldenburg foals. Both foals are hunter types. But I’m breeding for dressage! Lorette has beautiful movement, but she has a lower neckset, giving her and her foals, the propensity for long and low, rather than up and collected. I just have no idea how to breed or market hunter foals. I would like to find a breeding lease situation for Lorette. She is very easy to handle, easy to get in foal, easy to foal out, gets along well with other mares and foals, she is a great mother… I’m regretting this as I type it. She is a great broodmare, but just not fitting in with my program.

She is currently open, so could be bred in 2009 for either race or show. She has one foal to race, currently 3. She had one appendix QH foal and the 2 WB foals. All her foals were bay, with 2 by chestnut stallions. so I’m thinking she may be homozygous for black.

Her 2008 foal is weaned. Lorette is in great weight with a glossy coat. References required. I would prefer she stay fairly close by, but would consider longer distance with great references.

You can see pictures of Lorette and her 2007 foal here. She is the top mare/foal.

Magical Won - (Simply Majestic X Suddenly the Won) 2002, RPSI approved, 16h, bay, no white. Fantastic producer. 2007 filly was Gold Premium, 06 filly is racing. In foal for May 2009.

On The Deck - (Sword Dance X Santana Anna) 1999, 16.2+, chestnut rabicano, star, lots of roaning throughout body. Has had 1 foal, gorgeous mover, lovely jump. Has not yet been inspected, but would easily be approved. Open & working right now.

Stunning dark bay mare, 14 years old and Seattle-Slew bred TB (Great sporthorse lines!). Great personality, and very friendly and easy to work around.
16 hands and a very pretty mover with elegant head. I have seen two of her babies and they are all SUPER quiet, easy to ride and agreeable to just about anything. They tend to be bigger than mom also, and have lovely movement.
Located in Maryland,
Email for more information.

Here is one of her offspring–she looks JUST LIKE MOM.
