GOV and RPSI MMB approved TB mare for Lease,
On farm or off, with references.
Lily is bay with a star, two hind white socks. She stands 16.0-16.1 hands, (I have not officially measured her, but she is at least 16 hands tall) She has had 5 full TB foals, and 2 WB cross foas. Her TB’s were born before I owned her, and some of them have raced. Lily had a lovely, premium GOV filly for me last year by Prince Optimus (Han). The filly was praised for her correctness and movement, and chosen as the reserve site champion.
Photos of her are available on my website, and I do have additional pictures of some of her TB babies also.
Her registered name is Lily Millie.
I have a 11 yr old Mare that I would do free lease on my farm. She is MMB Oldenburg NA by Calimero I – Carneval – Cor de la bryere. out of a TB mare by Keelo. She has been an excellent producer. Her Alla’czar colt from 2007 scored 8.5 conformation/ 8.5 movement / 8.5 overall impression and was the site Champion for the Chestnut Lawn Inspection. He has been kept as a stallion prospect. She is a good mover and an excellent jumper. She is 15.2 hands, but throws large. Her 19mo old colt is 16.0 hands now. She is a very easy breeder (2 frozen pregnancies) and a great mother. She is currently open and I’m not breeding in 2009 and hate to have her just sit around. Lessee would be responsible for all of her expenses (vet, farrier, ect). I would also require them to carry an insurance policy for mortality and major medical. Board would be very reasonable.

MJ Miss Saigon
Available for the 2009 and breeding season.
MJ Miss Saigon is an amazing 13 year old, 1st premium Canadian Warmblood Mare. She is 16.1hh, chestnut, with a lot of chrome, she is sabino, so should throw lots of colour in there as well. Missy and I have done showing in the past and had a successful time together. We were always in the ribbons at every show we attended. In our last full season we were reserve champion in the Southeast Hunter Division. Missy excels in the hunter ring, but i think that is because it is my favorite, she is quick on her feet, and loves to be challenged. She wants to be a mom, everytime she sees a baby she gets a quiet look in her eyes. I would love to breed her myself, but, at this point do not have the resources to do so, but I do wish for her to have a baby.
She has great movement, confirmation, and a tempermant that is just sweet. She is a half niece to Big Ben as well. Her Sire was Fantast, and her mother an Anglo Arab mare. She loves children, and attention, she is happiest living outside, and, is the easiest keeper I have ever owned. Many of her full and half siblings are successfully showing and competeing in the hunter, jumper and dressage rings.
If you would like more information about my mare, please PM me or email me at mjmissssaigon@hotmail.com
You should mention where you are located since you want the mares to stay on your farm.
TB MARE BRED FOR SPORT FOR FREE BREEDING LEASE
I have a lovely dark bay TB mare that needs a job. She has a wonderful temperment and excellent ground manners. She has lovely hunter type movement and confirmation. She is refined while still having good bone and size. She stands 16-16.1hh and was previously used for foxhunting as a whip horse until becoming a broodmare. She has had 3 lovely foals with no complications and is an excellent mother. She is a very easy keeper and has no vices. You can reach me by email at mathon@mccrsi.com
Anglo-Trakehner Mare for On-Farm Free Lease…“Free” breeding as well?
It appears this mare is taken for the 2009 breeding season
Tropical Reign is an 11 year old, heterozygous black, bay Trakehner mare who sticks at just under 16.2h. She is by Talon Df (by Preussengeist) out of a TB mare. ATA approved. Shown on the line a couple years back and scored well. Had a colt by Arlington, Tropical Wind, who scored VERY well. Look them both up on USDF.
She had been in dressage training and showed aptitude, but I plan on turning her into a jumper. She is a nice, uphill mover and a soft ride. VERY intelligent and has a great sense of humor. I would not say she is beginner-friendly just because she has so much Trake personality. She is built very nicely and is going fine barefoot. VERY refined and feminine.
If someone would like to use her and my breeding, please contact me. Leasor would only incur collection/shipment/vet fees, as well as any increases in feed/etc I would incur. Mare would remain in work and training as pregnancy permitted. She would probably foal out at a clinic or similar, which would be at leasor’s expense.
I would also be more than willing to allow her to be bred to another stallion.
Contact me if interested. Mare is located in Moorpark, CA but would be happy to work with a long-distance leasor and arrange shipping upon weaning.

Pedigree at www.pedigreequery.com “Penalty in the Box”
TB mare in Houston, TX
Free lease available for 15yo TB mare (pedigree online at DelMar Pedigree Query) http://www.pedigreequery…com/dakamo+kim Miko is a 16.3h, dark bay with a small stripe on her face and one sock. Inspected and approved into the main mare book of Oldenburg NA in 2001 for breeding. She has had one filly by Hanoverian stallion Landkonig, and one colt by Holsteiner stallion Cathalido. Both foals were quite large and correct. Filly was born in 2003, champion filly at her inspection and is 16.2h at 5½ yo. She is very smart, trainable and has a fabulous & willing personality. Colt was born in July 2008 and is an eventing prospect for his owner.
Her colt will be weaned in December 2008, and she is available for lease for the 2009-2010 breeding season. Owner lives in Houston but would consider a lease to an approved home with references anywhere in Texas or nearby states.
Please contact me for photos and more information.
AHS Main Stud Book Mare - Free Lease
Looking to place our AHS mare for the '09 season. She is currently registered and in the main stud book. She is a bay 16.0+H 2003 maiden, by Dominator (Domingo) out of Guldenblatt/Gueldenstein.
Gorgeous mover - more of a hunter type than dressage. Nice manners, nice rideability, really great expression & very pretty mare. Would prefer she stay within a couple hours of Charlotte, NC so we can check in on her. We’re just looking to give her some time to get over a pasture injury - should have no effect on her breeding/foaling.

seeking that needle in a haystack
seeking a breeding age tb mare with ‘exceller’ up close in the pedigree to breed anglos. one thing on my life list is to have a broodmare by each of my favorite stallions that I took care of when I was a kid on breeding farms in kentucky. as the years roll on this gets harder and harder to do. I recently visited my uncle in britain who has several exceller descendants on his farm. they make the most awesome cross country horses. so I realized if this is ever going to happen I needed to make a real effort in 2009 to find her. I would love an exceller daughter. but realize that is probably umpossible to find in the us. anyone have a grand daughter needing a home? we have 160 acre farm in va. and also have a hay farm so she’d never be hungry. thanks!
AHS proven mare still available
…from my post above “Godiva” is still available! Also I have a top quality GOV mare that has had 4 premium foals- one stallion prospect quality, jumper bred produces huge movement and lovely hunter types also.
Dear Santa…
I’ve read many, but not all of these posts. I am posting myself on a whim.
I have a miracle breeding to Sempatico that I was going to use on my grand old foundation mare. Only she ended up being retired.
I could provide a fabulous home for a mare, for a breeding lease, and even return her bred…
My place isn’t fancy, horses get to be horses. 24/7 turnout with run-in sheds, (small group/gender turnout) and unequivocal full supervision at foaling. Free choice forage–either pasture or hay. Top notch nutrition. I’ve midwifed more than 65 foals, mostly for others, (i.e. semi-‘professionally’) and have solid breeding and foaling experience, including some complications. I have an amazing Repro vet, the best regarded in the state.
I’m looking for a smaller mare, since I’m no giant. Ideally Arab, ArabX, Trakehner or Iberian. Would absolutely consider others… from WB to Connemara to Welsh to APHA. I’ll know her when I meet her.
I would use my Sempatico breeding for her, have the foal go RPSI (and mare, if needed) then could return her bred to either my Sr. Stallion, RPSI Sportpony approved, or my Jr. stallion, son of the Sr. stallion, out of my Great *Malachit daughter.
Temperament is the #1 consideration. ALL the horses here interact in some way or another with special students. Either Special Olympians, or children from the homeless shelter system. Maybe even some juvie delinquents as things progress.
I’m hoping for a keeper filly out of the Tico breeding. Only a 50/50 chance of that. Mare’s owner could have right of first refusalon a colt at absolute rock-bottom cost. (less than $2500, realistically) or commission… I know it’s a shot in the dark, but you never know until you ask.
References available. Polygraph taken, FBI background check current.
Hi there, I am located in Richmond Va area. I have a small breeding operation with excellent references. If the distance is not to great for you I would be interested in further information. Debby

Looking for warmblood mare for free lease in 2009
I’m looking for a mare for our TB stallion, Sir Juli Go, who has offspring competing in the future eventer in-hand classes & who was the subject of one of those ‘iron-horse TBs who race forever & retire sound & sane’ threads - his pedigree/picture are at www.pedigreequery.com if you want to look before offering a mare.
Basically, we are looking for sound, sane, correct, kind & trainable to produce a sporthorse foal. We want to avoid mares who have vices the foal may mimic & genetic unsoundnesses - a mare who is only breeding sound due to an accident may be acceptable. A mare who is used to beginners & would good-naturedly permit an out-of-shape & out-of-practice person on her back occasionally would well & truly be the icing on the cake - but that’s not the main thing we want.
In theory, I’m looking for a registered warmblood mare over 16 hands & have a preference for Trakehners. In practice, the right mare could be without papers at all or a bit smaller or an AQHA mare from lines known to produce cutters or reiners . . . I’ll know her when I see her & her match to this particular stallion is important, which is why we will need to see her before deciding.
The mare would live here [our farm in Pennsylvania] until weaning. If the owner wants her bred AI for next year, our vet is very good. If the owner wants her returned in foal to one of our stallions, that could be arranged, too.
If you have a candidate in mind, feel free to PM or email me at KBEquine@yahoo.com I’d especially appreciate good pictures, pedigree & any other information you have.
AND if it is an older mare & you’re looking for a lease beyond the 2009 breeding season, let me know, so we can factor that into the decision.
Thanks.
I think the mare I posted earlier has found her home! That was quick!!!
Since I dont have my Mattie (Amomatic) any longer I might be interested in a thoroughbred mare (small, no bigger than 15.3) to breed to my Blue Who for a pony foal. If the special one comes along you all know I have a good home for her.
Dutch Warmblood for lease located in S. Florida
Remembrance is a 16h 12 y.o. Dutch Warmblood. She is bay with 3 white socks and a large blaze. She is the last Ranley baby. her Dam was a paint.
The mare has an excellent temperment and has tremendous athletic ability. We have owned her for the last 8 years and bought her from the breeder. Horse is very strong and healthy. Doesn’t wear shoes and loves to trail ride. Great around children. Very sensible. No spook in her.
She is done raising her ‘human’ children and now needs to have children of her own.
3yo TB mare by Friend’s Lake
I have a coming 3 TB filly - very pretty and correct - Not big - abt 15.2, but a nice filly with a ton of family. Half sister was stakes placed last year, tons of black type. I never broke her - she had an ankle cyst as a baby and never made it to Keeneland. Would be a great prospect for a TB or sport pony broodmare breeder. Located in VA. Bay with white. Mother and 2 sibs on the farm at the moment if anyone wanted to see. Dam is by Miesque’s Son out of a Roberto mare.
Easiest link to pedigree is to go to www.keeneland.com - under sales, choose search sales, and hip 2592 - the Borrego- Celtic Raven is her half brother. She is by Friend’s Lake herself.
Please pm if interested.
Thanks!
